Equinox in general a very laid back person, and tends to leave worrying for the big things. Though she is calm she isn't lazy, and tends to take charge in a situation with a 'my way or the highway' attitude. She is stuburn and determind, once she makes up her mind, there is no going back. Equinox is extremely proud and seemingly thick skinned. Even though she puts up the tough girl persona and the superpowers she is still a teenage girl, who is bothered by her appearance and frets over how the world sees her. Rosella has a nose for trouble and nearly always ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. As a child she was a mischief maker and some of those teasing and sly traits she held onto, which is no surprize with her playful and good hearted nature.
Abilities:
Equinox is a light manipulator, she was born with the uncanny abilty to generate, manipulate or absorb light energy. Nox stores light energy away in her body which can later be summond to her hands and focused like a lazer canon. She can also make glowing orbs of blinding light that can be thrown over a fair distance, that burn or sometimes explode what ever they make contact with. Nox sometimes can't control how much light she absorbs or summon, specially if she is under heightened emotional stress. If the amount of light stored in her body is to much for her to cope with, the energy radiates from every part of her, coating her in a glowing aura. Usually her eyes with also glow an eerie gold, and her iris is no longer visable.

Equinox has elfish features, with long auburn, lovely green eyes that faintly shine emerald and a tiny sprinkle of freckles over her nose. Rosella is quite fair skinned, and tends to blush a bit more then others and go red when she is angry or frustrated.
History:
Rosella Marsh was born into your typical upper middle class american family in florida. Garry Marsh had inherited alot of money from his billionaire father, so he and his wife Holly never had to worry about paying the bills. Little did they know their only daughter was born with a rare abilty to control light particals. As grew, Garry and Holly spent every waking momment making sure little Rosella was the picture pefect american sweetheart, taking her to ballet classes and buying her the nicest clothes they could find.The Marshes lapped up any compliments thier daughter received, grinning like idiots everytime someone told them Rosella was 'such a darling' or 'so pretty' or so talented. They had always needed to be perfection, a family that others would enive and respect. Although they didn't realize it, Garry and Holly were putting alot of pressure onto little Rose to be the best.
Rosella was a child that was scared to be a dissapiontment, and once she began to notice her uncanny abilties, she was terrified of what her parents might think of her. So she did what any kid would do...pretend it wasn't there. She would keep going to her ballet practises and piano lessons and get good grades. It continued on like this for years, The Marsh's bragging and boasting about their 'beautiful' daughter while Rosella was scared to death.One day when she was about nine, Rosella's mother was telling her off for getting a B+ in a recent test. Rosella was so sick of it she actually yelled back, and accidently shot a blazing orb of light at a table, making it burst into flames. Holly was horried, and soon enough they shipped nine year old Rosella to Mrs. Keen's home for 'special children'...and she never saw them in person again.
Once at Mrs. Keen's, Rose befriended Kai Hartwin, a mute telepath, Callie Keen, Mrs. Keen biological daughter and Nick Collins, a boy with heighted sences. They quickly formed a little gang of misfists, using thier powers to steal to earn money for thier sickly care giver Mrs. Keen. The little group split up after Kai and Callie broke up and Hood had being involved in come crimes far worse then stealing. Rosella, by then known as Equinox, took off with Cerebral (A.K.A Kai) To turn thier lives around, incountering James Andrews the teleporter whom they nick named Blink.
