Personality: | A genius, top level academic achiever, and a suave playboy to boot. Henry is, on the surface, every bit his father's son. But beneath it, he's an egotistical, ambitious, and ruthless person. He's wholly obsessed with outdoing his father's achievements and totally enthralled with the search for ever greater power through technology. I many ways, he is a younger version of the great Tony Stark, but without the devotion to global stability. He doesn't care who gets in his way of his ambition, he won't let any of them stop him... no matter what it takes. | Abilities: | - Inventor:
Like his father before him, Henry is a genius level inventor. At 20 years of age, he's broken every record his father had when he was a similar age and has set some new ones entirely. Namely, he established his Mark III platform by age 18 while Tony didn't establish his Mark I until he was well into his 40s. He graduated valedictorian from MIT, gained a doctorate in each of physics, mechanical, and electronic engineering and followed it up with a doctorate in programming, all by the age of 17, starting at age 12. He helped his father develop the Mark IX Iron Man platform at age 15 and again with the Mark X the following year. He's considered one of the most ingenious inventors in the world, even going so far as to improve the design and abilities of Tony's trademark micro-arc reactor and Iron Man suit for his own uses. Though showcased at the Stark Expo, neither of the inventions have been put into production in the known world...
- Programmer:
Henry is possibly one of the finest programmers, coders, and hackers in the world, if not the finest. He established himself as a major player with the creation of the HHS OS I, an operating system for consumer computers and handheld devices that boast a nano-AI system that immunizes the program to incursion by harmful software, like worms, viruses, or spyware. OS II saw the introduction of a voice interface that allowed users to interact with their computers almost as if they are living things. Though based off of the Jarvis platform, the HHS OS is more than 90% Henry's own work. This has made him a powerful player in the software industry in his own right and has allowed him to divorce himself from his father's company, Stark Industries...
| Appearance:Height: 5'11" (180.3 cm // 1.8 m) Weight: 467 lbs. // Lightweight Metals // Lean, Muscular Design Eyes: Hazel Hair: Dark Brown Henry's natural body is a handsome one, characterized by lean muscle. Naturally, he weighs roughly 171 pounds. While his Mark III body is built with incredibly strong yet light materials, it still adds almost three hundred pounds atop that number. Everything from his fair skin to his dark brown hair to his hazel eyes are perfectly recreated in look and feel in the Mark III. He looks, feels, even smells human, but his body is not. Equipment: - The HHS Mk. III:
Item Name: Mark III Lite Stark Item Nature: High Tech Prosthesis Item Description: Designed and built from the ground up by Henry himself, the Mark III platform was a significantly more ambitious project than its predecessors. Henry has installed himself in this artificial body which resembles his perfectly, right down to the placement of the artificial hairs on the Mark III's head... CoSMOS: A complex crystalline device resembling a massive diamond suspended within a square framework, CoSMOS is one of the most complex data storage, processing, and interface devices in existence. Powered by four dime-sized arc reactors positioned in the frame's four corners, CoSMOS is small enough to fit in one's hand while having storage space sufficient to maintain the vast quantities of data that make up a human psyche as well as having generous storage capacity for additional information logged at the will of the stored consciousness. Henry can interface directly with every piece of equipment in the Mark III as well as with Regi's core programming. The uplink systems in the Mark III also allow him to interface with the core mainframe, KWIN, at his house in Jump City – Albinay. CoSMOS is stored within the cranium of the Mark III in a spherical container called the Bunker. This small sphere has the capability of withstanding a direct hit from a nuclear weapon without failing. Arc Reactor: Like his father's Iron Man suits, Henry's Mark III is powered by a micro- arc reactor. Using an element his father invented in combination with a crystalline structure of his own creation, the same structure that made CoSMOS a possibility, Henry was able to create a new form of power source that would allow the reactor to generate almost three times what his father's design was capable of and more consistently over a longer period. Using this new reactor, Henry was able to give his Mark III vastly superior and more versatile armaments and tools. ~ UNARMORED FUNCTIONALITY ~ Cutting Lasers: Perfected in large part by his father, Henry equipped his Mark III with the cutting laser technology that allowed his father to defeat Ivan Vanko at the so-called Battle of Flushing (Queens) during the Stark Expo years ago. Though Henry is unable to use his arc stabilizers without deploying his Greyscale Armor, these laser projectors, which deploy from the back of his hand, can be used without doing so. Furthermore, while his father's design required the use of disposable focusing lenses for every burst, Henry's uses a cycling pair of focusing crystals that only require a few minutes of cool down time between uses. This allows him to keep an almost continuous beam focused on target. As a result of this alternate focusing source, the lasers appear blue as opposed to his father's red. Switch-Gat: Deploying from the inside of the right arm, Henry's Mark III boasts a small scale minigun which fires high velocity rounds with variable yield explosive cores. With an internal ammunition storage capacity of 15,000 round, this weapon, which fires at a rate of 7,520 rounds per minute, allowing him to exhaust his magazine in the space of roughly one minute, fifty-four seconds. Switch-Blades: Hidden throughout the Mark III are deployable blades. Most notably, a pair stored in the forearms on both sides that extend from the outside of the arm past the hands, functioning as swords. Additional blades extend on command from the tips of both feet for kicking. Several others exist. Switch-Walls: Based off of the allow of Captain America's shield, this pair of small, fan-like shields deploy from the outside of both forearms. Heavy and less effective than the Captain's shield, these nonetheless offer significant protection against energy attacks, bullets, and light melee attacks. When deployed, they fan out forming a triangular shield with its point directed toward the hand. Holo-Mask: A clever device for use in disguises, this device, stored under the dermal layer of the Mark III's face, is capable of projecting life-like faces over the Mark III's existing face. This device has obvious limitations. The hologram is nothing more than a three dimensional image and will generate a sense of touch imitating the image if felt by someone. Additionally, when struck hard enough, the projectors can falter and the image will fail. ~ UNARMORED FUNCTIONALITY ~ Greyscale Armor: Modeled after the Mark V Iron Man platform designed by his father years ago, the Greyscale Armor is series of highly resilient plates which form a suit of armor around the Mark III when deployed. This armor is stored in several compartments within the Mark III. While the armor is deployed, several features of the Mark III become either useless or restricted. For instance, because of the full-head helmet, the Holo-Mask is fairly useless unless the visor of the armor is opened. Additionally, only the left hand shield and right arm sword can function while the armor is deployed. The other Switch-Blades are restricted by it, as is the right hand shield. The Switch-Gat and cutting lasers are unaffected. Arc Stabilizers: Installed in the hands and feet of the Greyscale Armor itself, these stabilization boosters, which are necessary to power flight in the Mark III, will only function if the armor is deployed. Additionally, because the chest plate of the Mark III retracts to expose the otherwise hidden Arc Reactor, the Mark III has the chest piece cannon that was so characteristic of Tony Stark's Iron Man suits. Note: There is one such weapon which can be used by Henry while the armor is not deployed. There is an arc energy projector in his right index finger which allows him to fire small blasts. He likes to form a gun from his fingers and 'shoot' his opponents sometimes. The blast constitutes a considerably more powerful hit than that of, say, a bullet. As a flourish... he sometimes blows off the tip of his finger, which literally smokes after doing this. Tank Buster: More accurately, an all purpose anti-material micro-rocket, this small guided projectile launcher deploys from the inside of the left arm. When fired, it is capable of homing in on and destroying almost any armored vehicle or aircraft in military service. His magazine of rockets contains a maximum of three (one mounted and two in reserve.) Guided Projectile Pods: The final and most accurate weapon in Henry's arsenal is a pair of small pods each stocked with thirty rounds. These deploy from the top of the shoulders and, with target identification and assistance provided by the HUD and Regi, Henry is capable of scoring a direct hit on twelve targets at a time. In priority targeting mode (single target), he can snipe someone from upwards of three-hundred yards. With the assistance of a keyhole satellite, that distance is bumped up to six-hundred.
- REGI:
Item Name: REGI Item Nature: Artificial Intelligence // Command & Control Custodian Program Item Description: The Mark III is equipped with a system mainframe located inside its armored head. It is into this assembly that the Bunker and CoSMOS directly interface. As with all of Henry's mainframes, this computer is governed by the Regi AI platform based upon his father's earlier Jarvis system. Everything the Mark III does is in some way assisted by Regi, though she cannot override Henry's commands to the system. Through Regi, Henry has a constant uplink to KWIN at Albinay. From any host device, Henry can remotely command any other host device controlled by Regi. Using a specially designed interface unit in the likeness of a cell phone, Henry is able to directly upload Regi to any computer he finds. This can be accomplished with additional time through remote linking, but most effectively in this manner.
In the event that CoSMOS is captured. Regi takes command of SQUAD, a quartet of drones that are perfect recreations of the Mark III in every way except for their likeness to Henry's natural body. Under Regi's command, these drones seek out and recover CoSMOS at any cost. Albinay has the capacity to construct almost limitless copies of SQUAD, though the control tower on the grounds can only effectively command four at a time... History: Son of Tony Stark, the legendary “Iron Man” and his late wife, Virginia “Pepper” Potts, Henry Howard Stark almost immediately established himself as an able successor to the Stark name. Throughout his childhood, he created inventions that outstripped his father's early such achievements, often by leaps and bounds. By the time he was ten, he'd created numerous devices including a so-called 'hard virus', a device which, when linked to a computer, could manipulate the software of the computer in much the same way a soft virus would. Henry's hard virus changed the pitch of his father's AI system, Jarvis, so that he sounded roughly like Alvin the chipmunk. At age twelve, Henry surpassed himself yet again, becoming the youngest person ever accepted at MIT. There, he achieved a doctorate in each of mechanical engineering, physics, electronic engineering, and programming, all by the age of seventeen. At fifteen, he assisted his father in the development project for the Mark IX Iron Man suit, becoming familiar with the technology from the ground up. At sixteen, he repeated the process, this time assisting his father to design a new form of energy for the micro-arc reactor which incorporated an alloy of his father's existing energy source element and a crystalline structure Henry himself developed. But tragedy struck. Henry's mother, Pepper, died suddenly, leaving the family fragmented and quickly growing apart. Henry was quickly becoming disillusioned with the way the public and his piers treated him, always acknowledging his successes, but at the same time treating them as though they never would quite measure up to his father's legendary work and he, never to his father's legend. His father's treatment of the loss of his beloved mother did nothing to help either. While Henry grieved, his father seemed unaffected and carried on with his role in the Avengers and in Stark Industries as though nothing had happened. Finally, this series of crushing circumstances brought Henry to the breaking point. He stepped away from his father and his bright future at Stark Industries and struck out on his own. He founded HHS Enterprises with money he acquired from the sale of several minor pieces of technology to Denning Arms. Within a year, his company registered on the Fortune 500 list, their achievements in personal computing blasting all other competitors out of the water almost instantly. Since then, the company has steadily grown and flourished until now, it threatens to usurp the throne Stark Industries has enjoyed for so long. Based in Jump City, Henry's company is a pinnacle of technological industry and Henry himself, the so-called 'Wunderkind' (wonder child) like his father before him, has become one of the most recognized faces in technology, both hardware and software. Though the world doesn't know it, he's parlayed that public image and the immense wealth that came with it into the perfect disguise... ****Nexxus ID: Lane | |
